Internal Number: NAPS-22-23-1 The Naval Academy Preparatory School (NAPS) invites applications for the positions of English Instructor to be filled as early as January 2022. The position is located at the Naval Academy Preparatory School (NAPS) in Newport, RI where the overall mission is to academically qualify selected candidates for admission to the U.S. Naval Academy. The academic goal of the Naval Academy Preparatory School (NAPS) is to build the necessary skill sets and academic tools to ensure midshipman candidates are best prepared for success as they start the Naval Academy’s challenging academic program. The relatively small faculty and staff at NAPS work closely together to achieve this goal. A small student to faculty ratio enables instructors to better focus on student needs, provide critical feedback, and schedule extra instruction. Duties and Responsibilities:
This is a 10-month federal excepted service position, with an initial 3-year appointment. Salary for this position will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
