Job Description:
The University of Texas at Dallas has an excellent job opportunity for individuals looking to join our team as an Administrative Assistant II in the Office of the Vice President for Academic Affairs and Provost.
We are looking for someone with a bachelor's degree and five years of office administrative or project management experience, including two years at an Administrative Assistant I level or an equivalent combination of education and experience. The Administrative Assistant II will join the Office of the Vice President for Academic Affairs and Provost to provide administrative support to the Associate Provost for Academic Administrator and Faculty Reviews in addition to supporting the University of Texas at Dallas' academic Committee on Qualifications. The Administrative Assistant II must be detail-oriented, meticulous, organized, and have excellent communication skills to ensure accurate record keeping and dissemination of important academic policies and procedures.

The successful candidate will be detail-oriented and have intermediate skills with Microsoft Office applications and basic electronic documentation. The candidate will exhibit the skills required to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with faculty members, administrators, and colleagues. Candidate must be professional and considerate when receiving and responding to critiques.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree and five years of office administration or project management experience including two years at an Administrative Assistant I level or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

- Previous experience in higher education is preferred.
