Goucher College's Biological Sciences program invites applications for a temporary 10-month instructional lab support position starting August 16, 2021. This position will provide support primarily for teaching labs including introductory biology (BIO 101), techniques in genetics and molecular biology (BIO 224), and our post-bac pre-med program.
Responsibilities will include preparing reagents for lab experiments, assisting in preparing lab manuals and weekly handouts, setting up and transitioning the classroom between lab sections, cleaning and organizing supplies, and maintaining student resources (including in-person resources and within the online learning management system, Canvas).
The successful candidate will contribute to an environment of inclusivity in the campus community in the context of their position.

Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 2 years research lab experience for candidates with a bachelor's degree or a minimum of 1 year research lab experience for candidates with a master's degree
