John Tyler Community College is seeking to fill several telework positions for our Financial Services Help Hub. To create a compelling image of John Tyler Community College, the Remote Customer Service Advisors will serve as the first point of contact for students request for financial information. Advisors will respond in a professional, courteous, and service-oriented manner. The College serves over 6400 FTEâs representing 14,500 headcount for credit and non-credit students. Advisors must possess a working knowledge of business and management principles involved in financial aid, student financials, strategic planning, resources allocation, and coordination of people and resources. Must have the ability to work as scheduled in a fast-paced environment to identify, diagnose, and resolve issues reported to the Financial Services Help Hub. Must possess excellent communication, customer service, and organizational skills. Must be available to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends. In addition, the Advisors must enjoy interaction with students and parents as the position is engaged in direct communications. This position reports to the Coordinator of the Financial Service Help Hub.
