UW Medical Center - Northwest has an outstanding opportunity for an ASSISTANT NURSE MANAGER to join the PACU Department. The Assistant Nurse Manager will work EVENING SHIFT,FULL-TIME, 40 hours per week. The Assistant Nurse Manager (ANM) supports and collaborates with the Nurse Manager in the day to day operations of the PACU. This individual must exemplify outstanding leadership skills, teamwork, and be able to communicate in a collaborative manner with nursing staff, providers, ancillary staff, patients and family members. A primary role of the Assistant Nurse Manager is bedside care coordination, clinical care oversight, and mentorship of nursing staff to a higher level of performance. In conjunction with the Nurse Manager, the Assistant Nurse Manager will be responsible for ensuring the unit provides nursing care according to UW Medicine standards and expectations.
Current license, two years of professional nursing experience, PACU, PreOp experience, equivalent education/experience
An active Registered Nurse license in the State of Washington
2 years of charge, lead, or supervisory nursing experience
Previous Operating Room nursing experience
BSN or MSN
