The primary responsibility is to teach Early Childhood and Education courses. Faculty loads require a minimum of fifteen (15) credit hours per semester. Office hours, advising, and other institutional commitments are required. Teaching assignments may include a variety of modes, including: on-campus, Zoom, Hyflex, and, asynchronous. Based upon the needs of the College, teaching assignments may also include day and/or evening classes at multiple on-and-off campus locations, to include dual enrollment courses in high school settings. Opportunities for summer teaching will be based on student interest.
The successful candidate must be qualified to teach both CHD (Early Childhood Development) as well as EDU (Education) courses. Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Development or a related field and a Master's degree in Education, or a Master's degree in any field with 18 graduate semester hours in Education is required. The selected candidate must be able to successfully pass the college's pre-employment security screening.
