This is a full-time temporary-remote position reporting to the Director of Marketing.
Develop, direct, analyze, and optimize new and existing SEM and social media campaigns
Work collaboratively with campus colleagues to develop and execute email and text campaigns; set up and report out on multivariate tests to improve results
Bring a growth mindset to continually optimize the digital advertising strategy
Serve as point of contact for contracted services
Build the College’s digital personas and presence
Create and curate content on Menlo College websites, landing pages, blogs, social media accounts, and intranet; maintain brand consistency across platforms
Supervise videography and photography projects and ensure deliverables are met
Serve as a resource for staff and faculty regarding web and intranet content updates
Bring growth mindset to continually improve UX, useability, content architecture, SEO, and data capture technologies
Ensure web compliance, accessibility, and best practices
Communications Director for content marketing initiatives
Senior Director of Alumni Engagement and Development for donor stewardship and fundraising initiatives
Alumni Engagement and Development team to curate and produce a bi-weekly alumni e-newsletter and seasonal young alumni newsletter
Marketing and Communications team to maintain the calendar used to track all key marketing and communications activities
Marketing Director to publicize and run tech for events

Desired Education, Skills, and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, public relations or equivalent experience
3+ years of hands-on digital marketing and content creation experience
1+ years project management at a small business or non-profit organization
Demonstrated knowledge of SEO including site architecture optimization, site speed considerations, on-page, and off-page optimization
Working knowledge of audience segmentation and personalized content journeys
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite with strong graphic design skills
Advanced knowledge of MS Office Suite and G Suite
Excellent writing, editing, and verbal communication skills
Strong experience working with volunteers and temporary workers
Previous experience in higher education or at a 501(c)3 a plus
Certification in Google Ads, Google Tag Manager, and Google Analytics is a bonus!
