The Teacher Education Department at Loyola University Maryland seeks a clinical assistant professor in Teacher Education to supervise student interns and teach courses in the teacher education undergraduate and graduate programs in one or more of the following areas: special education, science education, mathematics education, educational psychology, learning science, social studies education, literacy education, TESOL, and action research. Salary and benefits are commensurate with experience. Qualified candidates will have a Doctoral degree in education or related field, at least 5 years of PK-12 teaching experience, supervision and/or coaching experience with preservice and/or in-service teachers, and a commitment to equity and diversity. In addition to teaching and supervision, responsibilities include departmental service, such as curriculum development, collection and analysis of assessment data, committee service, support of department events and activities, student advising, and attendance at state and school district meetings.
