Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey is seeking a Secretary II for the Cop2Cop Program within Rutgers University Behavioral Health Care.
Under direction, the Secretary II provides a wide variety of secretarial, administrative and general office services to the Call Center program(s). Exercises professional judgment in performance of services and maintains a demeanor complimentary to the program(s).
Among the key duties of this position are the following:
Provides secretarial assistance to staff members.
Completes appropriate internal paperwork (paper or electronic) required by Department, UBHC, and University.
Maintains an accurate filing system to meet the needs of the Department.
Handles internal and external mail for Department.
Performs assigned xeroxing, collating, and distributing of materials required by the Department.
Minimum Education and Experience:
Graduation from an accredited program in secretarial studies plus three (3) years of full-time secretarial experience.
An additional year of experience is required in lieu of the secretarial program.
College credits may be substituted on a year-for-year basis for secretarial experience.
Up to sixty (60) credits may be substituted or two (2) years of secretarial experience.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Proficiency in typing and Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint and Excel).
Proficiency in Outlook.
Knowledge of PeopleSoft and procurement policies and procedures.
