Goucher College seeks to hire an Assistant Director of Student Engagement. The Assistant Director of Student Engagement is responsible for providing direction for campus-wide leadership development and education for students at Goucher College. This role will also help create and implement a range of social programming events. The person in this role will utilize feedback from students to implement creative, high-quality leadership and social programming, will serve as the adviser to Club Council and Goucher Leadership Council, and will supervise some student interns. The Assistant Director will continue to develop, enhance, and administer education and support for student organizations.
1-2 years of experience in student activities and engagement
Experience with Microsoft Office including Word and Excel
Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize
Professional phone etiquette
Attention to detail
Ability to work under time pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Basic understanding of arithmetic and ability to compute
Master's Degree in student affairs, higher education, or related field
2-4 years of experience in leadership education, campus programming, and supervision
