Two positions are available.
The Postdoc will work on multiple research projects related to lipid metabolism, macrophages, and atherosclerosis using techniques ranging from small animal physiology to cell culture, biochemistry, molecular biology, histology, and flow cytometry.
This is a collaborative role that will work, teach and learn with research assistants, graduate students, and other postdocs and interacts with the Principal Investigator and other PIs and collaborators. The Postdoc will assist in developing methods as required by the projects progress, and integrate with the KCVI/OHSU network of cores and laboratory expertise to maximize efficiency and reduce experimental costs. The Postdoc will also assemble, analyze, interpret, and organize data into scientific presentations including original papers.

Doctoral degree in a biological, biomedical science or other related area of science
Proficiency with molecular and cellular biology techniques
General knowledge of laboratory functions and research methodologies
Experience working with proteomics and big data analysis
