We are seeking applications from highly motivated research scientists to join the laboratory of Dr. Xin Li in the Department of Molecular Pathobiology at New York University College of Dentistry. The research focus of the laboratory is to understand the interaction between microbiome and immune cells under normal and diseased conditions. Specifically, the candidates will be involved in exciting and highly integrated inter-disciplinary research projects studying how succinate mediated signaling connects/contributes to local and systemic inflammation. The applicant is expected to work independently as well as in collaboration with other group members to complete projects in a timely manner.
The candidate should have a Master degree in Cell Biology, Biomedical Sciences or a related field. Hands-on experience in molecular biology, cell biology, biochemistry, and/or transgenic mouse models is highly desirable. Candidates with a Bachelor degree in biology and no less than 3-year lab technician experience will also be considered.
Priority will be given to candidates with strong oral communications and writing skills, as evidenced by a strong publication record.
