As a member of the Business Career Center team, the Career Coach will serve as a career adviser to business students and support coordination of a College of Business (CoB) internship/job strategies course within the college's Professional Enhancement Program. Provide career coaching primarily to College of Business undergraduate students, as well as graduate students and alumni, regarding academic/career decision-making, experiential learning opportunities, full-time professional job search strategies and techniques, and career/life planning. Teach CoB Professional Enhancement Program courses. Plan and deliver career-related presentations and programs to varied audiences. Develop career-related programming for students, employers, and faculty/staff. Build and maintain relationships with employers. Provide services to diverse populations including first-generation students, students with disabilities, international students, nontraditional students, students of color, students who identify as LGBTQ, student-athletes, and military-affiliated students.

Minimum Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree plus one year of experience working with students in a college/university or closely related setting required. A Master's degree may substitute for the experience. Must demonstrate the ability to work independently and function in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Must have proven proficiency with word processing, database, spreadsheet, email, and presentation software essential.
Master's degree in business, education, counseling, student affairs, or related field of study preferred. Demonstrated career counseling skills preferred. Demonstrated knowledge of, experience, or ability to work with diverse college student backgrounds helpful.
Posted Salary: $38,000 minimum
