The function of the Director of Facilities Operations (Trades) is to plan, organize, oversee and control the daily services required for the maintenance and operation of the physical facilities and for Capital Planning for the College. The Director of Facilities Operations (Trades) is a senior member of the Facilities Planning and Management Division leadership team. Fulfill all responsibilities fully, effectively and economically in a manner which adequately supports the functional and esthetic qualities of the education program of the College.
Master's Degree required.
Three (3) years full-time or equated experience in professional area.
Must have supervised personnel and administered programs directly related to professional area for at least three (3) years.
Must be able to work Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Work schedule subject to change based on department needs.
Must be able to climb ladders and work with heights.
Must have the ability to stand, walk, bend and stoop for long periods of time.
Ability to communicate effectively in spoken and written standard English.
As required by the 1986 Immigration Act, be prepared to present acceptable documentation showing your identity and that you are a U.S. citizen or an alien who is authorized to work.
A limited background investigation will be conducted prior to offer of employment. A signed authorization for release of personal information will be required if selected for an interview.
