General Purpose: General office and customer service duties in support of the SKYCTC Library faculty, staff, and student body.
This job pays $10.00 an hour and maximum of 20 hours per week. You will report to your supervisor in the Library.
Attend to the library help desk and assist with student needs
Answer the phone, take messages, or transfer as needed
Assist with scanning and printing documents
Assist students with general access questions about MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point), Blackboard, Email, and Student Self Service.
Retrieve and disseminate postal mail
Assist with set up and clean-up of events hosted by the library
Check in/Check out and shelve books, DVD's, and journels
Dust and clean library shelves, computers, and tables
Additional duties as needed
Must have a completed FAFSA on file;have to be eligible for FWS; have to be enrolled in at least 6 (six) hours; and must be meeting Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) as defined by federal financial aid guidelines.
Problem Solving: Problems are different, but tend to come up often. Check with supervisor if none of the regularly established procedures fix the problem.
Supervisory Responsibilities: Has no authority for the supervision of others.
Oversight and Direction: Receives sufficient supervision working from objectives set by supervisor. Organizes and carries out most assignments in accordance with standard practice, instructions or previous training.
