The Department of Biomedical Engineering at NYU Tandon School of Engineering is seeking to hire a Part-time Research Scientistto join an exciting project developing new tools to advance and apply glycoscience, especially for tissue repair. New York University (NYU) is one of the top private universities in the United States, and the Tandon School of Engineering, located in Brooklyn and Manhattan, has the distinct history of having been known previously as Brooklyn Poly and the NYU Polytechnic School of Engineering.
This project involves a collaboration between researchers in the Schools of Engineering and Medicine, on development of biomarkers and biotherapeutics based on glycosaminoglycans. Candidates will be responsible for biochemical and biophysical experiments to improve tools to apply glycoscience to tissue engineering and repair, and will perform work in a multi-disciplinary environment.

Minimum Bachelors Degree in related field.
We are seeking individuals with a strong background in biomedical engineering, biochemistry, biophysics, and/or related field.
Eligible candidates will be required to present eligibility to work in the United States.
The successful candidate will be driven, creative and team-oriented with a passion for developing bio-analytical methods.
