Responsible for all aspects of the daily operation of the voice networks and the assurance of high quality, reliable service to all constituents which includes managing all projects for new/expanded telecommunications technology and systems, coordinating vendors involved in providing selected outsourced telecommunication services. Also responsible for all network and voice cabling infrastructure and for conducting long-term telecommunication strategic planning to ensure systems meet current and future requirements including planning for remote hardware and communications support.
Bachelor’s Degree in the field of technology. Specialize training on PBX’s, Cable Management, Project Management, in telecommunication, and in data communication.
Minimum of two years' experience in laying voice and data cable, in managing IT related projects, in troubleshooting IT-related problems, in working with IT-related clients in planning IT-related projects, and in managing and supervising people resources.
Must be able to work between the hours of 8:30 a.m – 4:30 p.m; Monday through Friday. Work schedule is subject to change based on department needs.
Ability to communicate effectively in spoken and written standard English.
This position requires accessibility via cell phone during business and non-business hours.
Must have the ability to perform climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, and repetitive motions.
